Created 2014 as Westerdals - Oslo School of Arts, Communication and Technology (Westerdals Oslo ACT) and following merger between Westerdals Høyskole, Norges Informasjonsteknologiske Høgskole and NISS Høyskole. Acquired current title and status 2017 following merger with Høyskolen Kristiania, created in 1976.
