国立台中科技大学 (NTCUST)

Founded 1919 as Taiwan Natinal Taichung Commercial School. Renamed Taichung State Taichung Business School 1921 and then Taiwan Provincial Taichung Commercial Vocational School 1945. Merged with Taiwan Provincial Taichung Tutorial School and changed as Commercial Professional Tutorial School 1949. Restructured as Taiwan Provincial Taichung College of Business 1963. Renamed as “National Taichung College of Business 1982. Renamed as “National Taichung Institute of Technology 1999. Acquired present status and title 2011 following merger with National Taichung Nursing College.
