西藏大学 (UTIBET)

Founded 1951 as Tibetan Cadres Training School. Acquired university status and current title 1985. Merged with Art school of the Tibet Autonomous Region, Tibet Medical College and the Medical Department of the Tibet Institute for Nationalities, Tibet Institute of Agriculture and Animal Husbandry, Tibet Autonomous Region Finance School 1999.
