Founded 1819 by Parisian entrepreneurs and scientists, the ESCP is one of the oldest Business Schools in Europe. In 1973 the Chambre de Commerce et d'Industrie de Paris decided to set up the first European Business School (EAP) in four countries. Both French Grandes Ecoles merged in 1999 to form ESCP-EAP European School of Management. Previously known as ESCP-EAP Europäische Wirtschaftshochschule Acquired current name 2009.
